I ran the memorial video of John all day on Saturday so everyone could watch it. Diane has trusted me with Johns ashes to hold onto until we make the trek to Blue Valley this fall to spread them on the mountain. He was with us all day.

Fun, Fun, Fun!

As always, I came home with some cool stuff from the roundup. A few pounds of venison bologna from Jeff Nagy, I then traded Levi out of the knife and fork to eat the bologna with.

I also got this cool coat hanger from an old ship from Levi. I'll mount this in my dive boat.

I traded Uncle Bob for this giant sea shell.

The prize of the week for me was this rutile from Graves Mountain. This is the 9 1/2 pound rutile crystal that Nancy Seaver dug a few years ago. She decided to let me buy it to add to the museum collection I'm building. This piece was on display for a year at the Tellus Museum and is one of the two largest crystals to be dug at the mine in the past several decades.

Time to pack up and go home, it ended to soon, what a great week with friends!

See you next year!
